Quest for Innovative Solutions for Inclusion

A TCS Foundation Initiative

Limited number of disability-inclusive items resulting in the infringement of rights and participation to be enjoyed by persons with disabilities marks the importance of creative and innovative ideas to make the assistive device available, accessible and affordable. WHO estimates that 2.5 billion people across the world need assistive technology (Global Report on Assistive Technology, 2022). The impact of assistive technology is visible in increasing the opportunities for education and employment of persons with disabilities.

What is IDEATe?

Innovations for the Persons with Disabilities and Empowerment through Assistive Technology

Objective

To enable the ecosystem for persons with disabilities by collaborating with educational institutions and start ups for creative and innovative solutions with the aim of increasing the availability, accessibility, affordability and adaptability.
